The wiring workshop is where every vehicle starts and ends their journey.
CPD Bodies wiring workshop manager, Tony Harbron has been with us for two and a half years and has a team of 9 working alongside him.
Tony overseas each individual build ensuring that every vehicle meets IVA standards but most importantly is exactly what the customer wants.
Here at CPD Bodies we have a highly skilled team that produce multiple high-quality builds each week. When a bare chassis arrives on site it goes straight into wiring and is fitted with all essential cables and circuits required for the next stage of the build process.
The wiring shop are responsible for wiring tippers, adding personal touches to dropsides such as strobes, beacons, flashing light boards, work lights and any more. No matter what build whether it be a tipper, traffic management, luton or cage the wiring team start each build and complete it by adding the final touches before it’s released.
Averaging a week, the wiring shop produces 2-3 cages, 10–15 dropsides, 10-15 luton’s and 30-50 tippers.
The wiring team are also linked to after sales and each member of the team is able to go out on the road and assist with breakdowns. Not all breakdown calls require road side assistance therefore a qualified member of staff will attempt to trouble shoot an issue by talking to a customer over the phone guiding them through a process that will fix their problem.
CPD Bodies would like to thank the wiring team for their time and dedication to the company it’s very much appreciated.
