CPD Bodies announces Zoe’s Place as its Charity Partner for 2026

CPD kicks off Charity promise with £10,000 donation

Award-winning LCV sales and conversion business, CPD Bodies, has named Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice as its official charity partner for 2026, strengthening its commitment to supporting families and children across Teesside.

The announcement follows a recent visit to the hospice, during which CPD Founder Cathal Doocey presented a symbolic cheque ahead of a £10,000 donation to be made this week. CPD Bodies is also proud to join Zoe’s Place as a Building Blocks Partner, contributing to the long-term stability of the hospice’s work.

Cathal and CPD Bodies’ Director of Production, Liam Doocey, were welcomed by Katie Hobbs and Ashleigh Ennion from Zoe’s Place. During their visit, they were shown around the hospice’s specialised facilities, including therapy rooms, specialist equipment, family spaces, and its peaceful palliative care suites. The visit offered the CPD team a meaningful insight into the expert care and compassion the hospice provides for babies and young children with life-limiting or complex conditions.

Speaking about the partnership, Cathal Doocey, Founder of CPD Bodies, said “Supporting local charities is really important to us, and Zoe’s Place does something truly extraordinary for families in our community. Visiting the hospice put a lot into perspective. We all get caught up in the day-to-day pressures of work, but what really matters is people’s health and their families. If we can help even in a small way, it makes me feel a bit happier and proud of what we’re doing here at CPD.”

The donation is being made as part of CPD Bodies’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for 2026. The announcement also coincides with the Big Give Christmas Challenge, an annual national campaign where eligible donations to participating charities may be doubled. Zoe’s Place is taking part in this year’s Big Give, and CPD Bodies’ support helps raise visibility at a crucial time for the hospice.

Ashleigh Ennion, Senior Corporate and Major Donor Fundraiser for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice added, “We are incredibly grateful to CPD Bodies for choosing Zoe’s Place as their Charity Partner for 2026 and for joining us as a Building Blocks Partner. Their generosity and commitment will help us provide specialist nursing care, respite, and emotional support to families who need us. Partnerships like this make a real difference, not just financially but through the awareness they bring to the challenges our families face every day. We’re looking forward to working closely with the team throughout the year ahead.”

Throughout 2026, CPD Bodies will support the Zoe’s Place through fundraising activities, volunteering, awareness campaigns, and participation in community and sporting events. Staff have already begun registering their interest in helping at Zoe’s Place events, with further company-wide initiatives to be announced in the new year.
