Business Development Executive

Location: Stockton

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to help grow our customer base. You’ll make outbound calls, build relationships, and sell our range of services. This includes setting appointments for the wider sales team and handling customer details and documentation accurately. You’ll be part of a fast-moving team and will need to be organised, confident on the phone, and a great communicator. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Make outbound calls to new customers to understand their needs and sell our services 
  • Manage customer records, ensuring all vehicle and finance information is accurate 
  • Answer customer questions and keep them updated throughout their purchase 
  • Follow compliance rules, including DVLA regulations and internal policies 
  • Input and update information in our systems (CRM and business management tools) 
  • Work with the finance, operations, and registration teams to process sales smoothly 
  • Use our CRM to track leads, manage your pipeline, and report on progress 
  • Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally 
  • Work closely with colleagues across sales, production, and aftersales teams 

What We’re Looking For 

Experience 

  • 3+ years in a commercial dealership or van brokerage environment 

Skills 

  • Great communication and customer service skills 
  • Strong organisation and multitasking abilities 
  • Accurate with data and paperwork 
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and HubSpot CRM 
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Relevant sales or automotive admin certifications 

Personal Qualities 

  • Professional, honest, and reliable 
  • Problem-solver with a can-do attitude 
  • Able to keep up in a busy and fast-paced environment 
  • Motivated, driven, and takes responsibility for results 

Salary & Benefits 

  • £25,000 basic salary, plus uncapped commission – realistic OTE of £40k+ 
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), earned from January to December
