Meet Chris Jones!
We recently sat down with Chris Jones, our new Business Development Manager for the North West, to learn more about his background, experience, and what he’s looking forward to in his new role at CPD.
Q: Welcome to CPD, Chris! Can you tell us about your background and what led you to join CPD?
Thank you! My background is in selling Ford commercial vehicles - I’ve been in the industry for over 30 years. I started as a Retail Commercial Salesman and worked my way up to National Fleet Sales Manager across several dealer groups. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of vehicle conversions, each tailored to meet unique customer requirements. CPD felt like a natural next step - a company that truly understands the value of commercial vehicle solutions.
Q: What excites you the most about your role at CPD?
I’m really excited about the opportunity to help grow CPD’s presence in the North West. What we offer isn’t just vehicle sales - it’s complete, end to end vehicle solutions. Our customers can specify exactly what they need, track the build from start to finish, and take delivery faster than anywhere else. With such a large stockholding and rapid conversion turnaround, we’re in a league of our own.

Q: What are you most looking forward to as you settle into your role at CPD?
I’m most looking forward to getting out there and speaking with customers – both new and existing. There’s a real satisfaction in helping a customer find exactly the right vehicle and showing them just how quickly we can deliver it, no matter how specialist the build. It’s an exciting time to be joining CPD.
