Sustainable Fleet Support for Northumbrian Water

When VLS (Vehicle Lease & Service) approached us on behalf of Northumbrian Water, we delivered a full reconditioning project to enhance function, safety, and presentation across their utility fleet.

The Objective

Working on behalf of Northumbrian Water, VLS required minor refurbishment works across a number of utility vans. This included bodywork repairs, livery removal, internal updates and inspection, ensuring the vehicles were safe, presentable and ready to re-enter operational use.

While not a custom build, the project highlights how CPD supports our customers beyond conversions - offering flexible, value-led services that keep fleets moving.

The CPD Solution

Working from our in-house facility, CPD delivered a thorough rework on the Toyota Hilux vans, covering:

• Rust repairs and body panel touch-ups
  
• Bonnet scratch and dent correction
  
• Livery removal (internal and external)
  
• Machine polish and full valet
  
• Seat cover replacements and new floor mats
  
• Preservation of key components (such as winches)
  
• Final quality check prior to handover

All completed to fleet standards, with minimal downtime and clear communication throughout.
